Placement: The Calathea Makoyana thrives best in a spot with indirect light, preferably in partial shade. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. This plant is ideal for indoor use.

Water requirements: This plant prefers moist soil. Ensure the potting soil stays consistently slightly damp, but avoid letting the roots sit in water. Water about twice a week, depending on the humidity in your home.
